На основі дослідження Кісс та інших (Kiss et al., 2006) ми розробили аналітичні підходи для своєчасного виявлення ризиків, пов’язаних із надмірним зростанням обсягів споживчого кредитування, на основі економетричної моделі рівноважного рівня споживчих кредитів та кредитів домогосподарств. Результати оцінки для пулу країн були екстрапольовані на український банківський сектор. Відповідно до побудованої моделі після двох хвиль значного скорочення частки позикових коштів, що відбулися в 2009 і 2014 роках, обсяг наданих споживчих кредитів в Україні у 2019 році все ще значно нижчий від рівноважного рівня, незважаючи на попередню позитивну динаміку номінальних показників.
