У статті досліджуються канали монетарної трансмісії, що впливають на розподіл доходів та багатства, на основі новокейнсіанської моделі з перетином поколінь (Overlapping Generations). Запропонована модель відтворює загальний рівень сукупних активів та криву трудових доходів кількох типів економічних агентів різного віку. В рамках такого підходу стрімке монетарне пом’якшення стимулює накопичення боргу та капіталу більшою мірою індивідами середнього віку, посилюючи нерівність між поколіннями. При цьому відмінності в обсягах трудових доходів посилюють цей ефект, створюючи додаткові переваги для багатших та продуктивніших економічних агентів.
